Wenjun Yan is a Ph.D. candidate in the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), and received his LL.M. degree from Central South University(CSU). During his postgraduate study, he majored in International Law, focusing on the Conflict Law, the Law of State Immunity, the International Uniform Substantive Law and the Protection of Human Rights in International Law. His present research interests are in the Immunities of States and their Property in China. Yan is a member both of the China Law Society and the Beijing Society of Comparative Law, and has served as researcher in the Research Center of International Commercial Law of CUPL. Yan worked as an attorney with JunZeJun Law Offices in Beijing for one year, specializing in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets, Private Equity and Investment and Civil Cases.
