Kumpei Ohashi is a lawyer with the Tokyo Bar Association (TBA) and Japan Federation of Bar Association (JFBA). He has been involved in the practice of criminal defense for ten years. He had been a vice-chairperson of the criminal defense committee of TBA (2008-2011), a member of the death penalty defense committee of JFBA (2008-2011), and a member of the trial strategy and trial technique committee of JFBA (2008-2011).
