    Shian Chuan is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego (BA, 2008) where she majored in International Studies and completed her thesis “Chinese Compliance with Global Health Standards.” In 2007, she spent six months in Shanghai studying Mandarin at East China Normal University and International Relations at Fudan University. After her return to the U.S., she assisted San Diego’s World Trade Center in developing market research projects on trade policies in Greater China.
